John Krasinski promises A Quiet Place 2 is scarier than the original

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

As we all know all too well and good by this point in time, in an effort to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus, Paramount Pictures has decided to delay the release of John Krasinski's A QUIET PLACE PART II with Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Djimon Hounsou.

But that said, Krasinski, is still making sure to let us all know that once we can see the film, he promises it is scarier than the original.

He says:

I think you're gonna be really scared. I mean the truth is, I think again organically you're more scared because you care about these characters. In the first movie you were getting to know them. Now you know them, you don't want anything to happen to them. The sound's much more intense because you know the rules of sound. And so my point was to make the audience part of the movie.

I can't wait to find out for myself! Someday… Rated PG-13 for terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images, the movie sports this synopsis:

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

On top of writing and directing, Krasinski also produced A QUIET PLACE PART II with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. Allyson Seeger, Joann Perritano, and Aaron Janus serve as executive producers. Are you still excited about A QUIET PLACE PART II? Let us know below!
