Director Shane Black wisely chose cinematographer Larry Fong (whose credits include 300, WATCHMEN, SUPER 8, BATMAN V. SUPERMAN, and KONG: SKULL ISLAND) to help him bring the skull-collecting alien known as THE PREDATOR back to the screen, and now Fong has taken to his Instagram account to offer a peek behind the scenes of this “inventive sequel” to 1987’s PREDATOR.

Many of the pictures Fong posts on Instagram are of crew members and camera equipment, and could often be from any of the projects he has worked on, but a couple images have shown up on his account that are very specifically from THE PREDATOR – shots of actors Keegan-Michael Key and Alfie Allen, on set and in costume as their characters.

Fong isn’t the only one who has used Instagram to give us a small preview of THE PREDATOR. Actress Olivia Munn has also posted a video in which she demonstrates a gun handling technique she has learned for the film. Munn’s character has been described as being a scientist, but clearly this scientist has received some firearm training.

The images of Key and Allen and the video of Munn can be seen below.

Key, Allen, and Munn are joined in the cast by Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Edward James Olmos.

Written by Shane Black and his THE MONSTER SQUAD collaborator Fred Dekker, THE PREDATOR is scheduled for release on February 9, 2018.
