Kong: Skull Island welcomes Fantastic Four’s Toby Kebbell

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Toby Kebbell is looking to rebound big time after his lame turn in Fox’s FANTASTIC FOUR with Legendary’s epic King Kong flick KONG: SKULL ISLAND. THR reports Kebbell is in negotiations to join the Jordan Vogt-Roberts film, which already has Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Corey Hawkins in the cast. Samuel L. Jackson and John C. Reilly have been rumored to be on the production’s wish list as well, but they’re not confirmed as of yet.

Naturally, Kebbell’s role is being kept under wraps. This won’t be his first time monkeying around on screen though: He played the villainous Koba in DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.

KONG focuses on a team of explorers who venture into the mysterious, creature-laden isle that is also the home of the king of the apes.

KONG, which just brought aboard its fourth screenwriter in the form of JURASSIC WORLD scribe Derek Connolly, is gearing up for an October production start in Hawaii.
