Over the past few weeks we've been seeing a lot of casting news come in for A&E's upcoming "The Returned", including our reports on Michelle Forbes, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jeremy Sisto and Mark Pellegrino all signing on for the English-language remake of the French series "Les Revenants". Now Deadline is reporting that two more are set to join the ever-growing cast list as "Rogue" actress Leah Gibson and Rhys Ward ("The Strain", "The 100") have signed on for the 10-episode season.
An adaptation of the acclaimed French series, The Returned, focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences.
Gibson will play Lucy, a sexy, free-spirited traveler who works as a waitress at the local bar, The Dog Star Tavern. Ward plays Adam, an expert hunter with a dark nature and a complicated family history that he’s struggling to overcome.
"The Returned" received a 10-episode series order from A&E back in April. Expect it to hit sometime in 2015.
