Outdoor screening of Shaun of the Dead to be held in Los Angeles

2017 marks the 15th anniversary of the film company Focus Features, and as part of the Focus 15 celebration they are teaming with Fandango and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles for an outdoor screening of Edgar Wright's zombie comedy SHAUN OF THE DEAD, to be held just in time for Halloween.

Released by Focus in the U.S. in 2004, SHAUN OF THE DEAD is a "gut-busting, bone-mashing good time" that tells the following story: 

There comes a day in every man's life when he has to get off the couch… and kill some zombies. When flesh-eating zombies are on the hunt for a bit to eat, it's up to slacker Shaun (Simon Pegg) and his best pal Ed (Nick Frost) to save their friends and family from becoming the next entrée. 

Pegg and Frost's co-stars include Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis, Dylan Moran, Bill Nighy, and Penelope Wilton.

The screening will take place at The Greek on Thursday, October 26th. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster for $12.

If you're going to be in the Los Angeles area this month, this sounds like it would be a really fun event to attend. Fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite SHAUN OF THE DEAD character, and attendees will all (while supplies last) receive a special SHAUN OF THE DEAD T-shrit.
