Paranormal Activity 4 viral videos reveal mysterious clues

The boys and ghouls over at Dread Central put on their Sherlock Holmes hats and did some digging into the world of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4, which just hit theaters today (technically, last night), and came up with some intriguing, if mysterious, viral goods.

In their internet travels they encountered one Jacob DeGloshi, who on the surface is just some random dude, but dig a little deeper and it starts to become clear he might have a tenuously connection to the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY universe. Jacob has Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages, and a little scan of them will give PA fans one or two items to chew over. Perhaps most tellingly, the photo you see above, which is of his daughter, Sarah, and “one of her friends.” The other girl is clearly Kathryn Newton, who plays Alex in PARANORMAL 4.

If it still seems too vague, check out his most recent Tweet: Still unpacking. Found a VHS Tape in Sarah’s suitcase. Pretty weird, she doesn’t know where it came from.
