Salem appears in freaky Chilling Adventures of Sabrina clip

Picked up with a two-season, straight-to-series order, Netflix’s upcoming dark reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina reimagines the origin and adventures of the comic book character Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age tale that traffics in horror, the occult, and witchcraft. It is described as in the vein of ROSEMARY'S BABY and THE EXORCIST.

I'm surprisingly really looking forward to checking out this new series and if you're like me then today you'll want to make sure and check out the show's new clip. It's called "Salem Appears" and it centers on the show's lovable black cat from hell. What's cool about this clip is that it's scarier than you might imagine. I'm lovin' it. The series stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina who 

is wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while fighting the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit. Sabrina is described as an empowered young woman — half-human, half-witch — who is just beginning her dark education as a sorceress, even as she tries to maintain a normal life as a sophomore at Baxter High. Intelligent, compassionate and brave to the point of recklessness, Sabrina is all that stands between us and the forces of darkness that threaten our world.

Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Tati Gabrielle, Richard Coyle, and Bronson Pinchot co-star in the series which begins streaming its ten-episode first season on October 26th.
