David DeCoteau's 1987 cult classic SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA, which earlier this week stepped into the Face-Off arena with Jim Wynorski's 1990 cult classic SORORITY HOUSE MASSACRE II, is getting a mind-blowing special edition Region B Blu-ray release courtesy of 88 Films.

Starring legendary scream queens Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, and Michelle Bauer, along with NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4's Andras Jones, SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE's Robin Stille, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS' Hal Havins, and the great Buck Flower, with a vocal performance by Dukey Flyswatter, SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA

introduces us to a pint-sized pest that grants wishes but also takes soul-control of those stupid enough to fall for his promises.

DeCoteau has said that the Blu-ray looks gorgeous, as 88 Films were working with a scan of the original 35mm negative. The special features the company has put together for the release include

– Audio Commentary by Director David DeCoteau, Actress Brinke Stevens and writer Sergei Hasenecz

– Tales From the Bowling Alley, 145 Minute Making Of Documentary featuring extensive behind the scenes footage and optional commentary by David DeCoteau

– Brinke Stevens vs The Imp Featurette

– HD Trailer

– Trailer Reel

You read that correctly, the making of documentary runs 145 minutes, making it twice as long as the movie itself.

The SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA Blu-ray will be released on June 13th and can be pre-ordered through the 88 Films website, but keep in mind this is a Region B disc.
