Stallone wraps Rambo 5: The Last Blood

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Stallone's RAMBO 5: THE LAST BLOOD secured its cast earlier this month with Paz Vega as "Carmen Delgado, a reporter who covers the Mexican drug trade and teams up with Rambo after her younger half-sister is kidnapped," along with Yvette Monreal (LOWRIDERS) as the young half-sister.

And today it looks like the new RAMBO adventure has wrapped filming! Stallone himself took to Instagram to announce the news writing:

It's a long long road that has been traveled… thank you for the support…

Not only that, but the action star also posted a video announcing the filming wrap, and you can check out said video below. I don't know about you but I'm excited as hell for this new entry in the RAMBO series. Maybe I wouldn't be if it hadn't been for RAMBO back in 2008. But that film kicked all the ass in the world, so I say bring on RAMBO 5 and don't forget the FRIDAY THE 13TH-level gore!

RAMBO 5: THE LAST BLOOD sees:

Vietnam vet John Rambo take on the Mexican drug cartels after the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped.

Avi Lerner’s Millennium is behind the film, which is directed by Adrian Grunberg (GET THE GRINGO) from a screenplay by Matthew Cirulnick (PAID IN FULL). Kevin King Templeton and Les Weldon are producing, with Lerner, Trevor Short, and Boaz Davidson exec producing. The fifth installment of the RAMBO franchise has started production and is currently shooting in Bulgaria and Spain. It will be released in fall 2019.

How excited are you to check out RAMBO 5: THE LAST BLOOD? What do you think of the casting – and all the Cowboy Rambo pics thus far? Let us know below and then head on over to Amazon and snag a copy of the badass fourth entry RAMBO on Blu-ray RIGHT HERE.
