The September 30th release date of Tim Burton's latest film, the Ransom Riggs adaptation MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, is fast approaching, and with a couple months left to go before the film reaches theatres 20th Century Fox has shared a featurette that gives a quick glimpse behind the scenes.

With a screenplay by KICK-ASS / X-MEN: FIRST CLASS / KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE writer Jane Goldman, MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN has the following synopsis: 

When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.

This featurette includes interviews with Tim Burton, who discusses what drew him to the project; Ransom Riggs, who was excited to hear that Burton was going to direct the film; executive producer Derek Frey; and stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Terence Stamp, and Samuel L. Jackson.
