As you all should know, Ben Wheatley's psychedelic trip into madness is nearing its VOD and limited theatrical release as A FIELD IN ENGLAND will arrive on February 7, with a DVD and Blu-ray release following on April 8, 2014. I had the chance to watch this one and it is without a doubt the strangest movie I've seen in quite a while. I have loved everything Wheatley has dished out, especially SIGHTSEERS, but A FIELD IN ENGLAND is an entirely different beast that will have you questioning your sanity by the time it's over. I'm still not even sure if I loved or hated it… It's wicked piece of cinema and one that you have to see for yourselves!

While crossing a vast mushroom circle, which provides their first meal, the group quickly descend into a chaos of arguments, fighting and paranoia, and, as it becomes clear that the treasure they seek might be something other than gold, they slowly become victim to the terrifying energies trapped in the field.
