The Exorcist renewed for season two!

Recently we shared the news that FOX had canceled SLEEPY HOLLOW. At that time I was worried that THE EXORCIST and/or SCREAM QUEENS would be next. Well, maybe not so much SCREAM QUEENS. That series may have already worn out its welcome…

But THE EXORCIST is a series I am really looking forward to seeing come back to screens.

The first season was a great surprise and featured some knock out surprises as well. That said, there are next to zero details about what we can expect to see come season two. We only have the news that the show has been renewed at the moment, and that just fine with me.

THE EXORCIST synopsis:

Two priests must save a family who are being terrorized by a demonic presence in their home.

THE EXORCIST was written and executive produced by Jeremy Slater along with Rolin Jones, Rupert Wyatt, Roy Lee, James Robinson, David Robinson, Barbara Wall.

The series stars Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, Hannah Kasulka, Brianne Howey (see below), Kurt Egyiawan, Alan Ruck, and Geena Davis.

THE EXORCIST will return on FOX this year.
