The Hunger Games: Catching Fire recruits Patrick St. Esprit as Romulus Thread

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE has added a new villain to the fold.

Variety reports that Patrick St. Esprit (“Sons of Anarchy”, UNITED 93) has joined the cast in the role of “Romulus Thread,” who becomes the Head Peacekeeper during the course of the story.

According to the Hunger Games Wiki, Romulus is “harsh and unforgiving,” and “ready to enforce the law, no matter what.”

St. Esprit joins newcomers Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Jena Malone and Lynn Cohen to the CATCHING FIRE cast, which also includes returning members Jennifer Lawrence (pictured below), Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson.

The Francis Lawrence-directed film has a NOVEMBER 22, 2013 release date.
