I am a pretty big EVENT HORIZON fan; in my Dissecting The Director column I named it Paul W.S. Anderson’s best film. Well if you live in the Toronto area and are a fan of the film, boy do I have some fantastic news.

The film is having a screening this coming Sunday, but it isn’t just any screening, it will feature a Q&A with Paul W.S. Anderson and Producer Jeremy Bolt. How cool is that? The event will take place at the Toronto Underground Cinema (186 Spadina Ave, Toronto), the event starts at 7pm with the Q&A first then by 8pm the screening. The box office will open at 6:30pm and the tickets are only $10, sounds like a great deal to me! What a truly extraordinary opportunity and one worth taking if you can make it.

In the year 2047 a group of astronauts are sent to investigate and salvage the long lost starship “Event Horizon”. The ship disappeared mysteriously 7 years before on its maiden voyage and with its return comes even more mystery as the crew of the “Lewis and Clark” discover the real truth behind its disappearance and something even more terrifying.

The film stars Sam Neill, Laurence Fishburne, Kathleen Quinlan, Joely Richardson (below), Richard T. Jones, Jack Noseworthy and Jason Isaacs.
