I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu gets trailer, poster and release date

Way back in November of 2015 we let you guys know that filming had wrapped on the newest installment in the I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE franchise, and we let you know that the original film's director Meir Zarchi and actress Camille Keaton are returning for this new sequel. Well, I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE: DEJA VU is all ready to be released sometime in the near future and to prove it, today we have the new movie's trailer and poster for you to check out. You can give both a look-see below and then let us know if you're down for one more trip into rape/revenge land at the hands of Zarchi.

The trailer lets us know that the movie will be landing on Blu-ray and DVD this April. As if you really need to know much more about this new film other than rape, revenge, repeat, this is the synopsis for I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE: DEJA VU:

Following her brutal rape, Jennifer wrote a best-selling account of her ordeal and of the controversial trial in which she was accused of taking the law into her own hands and ruthlessly killing her assailants. In the small town where the rape and revenge took place, the relatives of the four rapists she killed are furious that the court declared her not guilty and resolve to take justice into their own hands.

In this new chapter, Jennifer Hills is joined by her daughter Christy (Jamie Bernadette) as well as a variety of new characters, including Maria Olsen who plays the role of Johnny’s wife, the gas station attendant Jennifer castrated; Jim Tavare in the role of Herman, whose son Matthew was hung by Jennifer, as well as by actors Jonathan Peacy, Jeremy Ferdman, Holgie Forrester, Roy Allen and Alexandra Kenworthy.

I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE: DEJA VU is directed by Meir Zarchi and stars Camille Keaton, Jamie Bernadette as Christy Hills, the daughter of Jennifer Hills, the female lead from the original film, Maria Olsen, Jonathan Peacy, Jim Tavaré, and Jeremy Ferdman. Executive Producers are Meir Zarchi and Deja Vu LLC. This sequel is produced by Terry Zarchi and Jan O'Connell. The new film is expected to release coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the original film and the trailer lets us know that the movie will be landing on Blu-ray and DVD on April 23.
