Want to watch MALLRATS along with writer/director Kevin Smith? Well, Focus Features has got you covered. The studio has announced Focus Movie Mondays, a livestreaming program which is hoping to bring moviegoers back to the magic of cinema from the comfort of their own homes. Kicking off on April 6th, Focus Features will be livestreaming a film on their Facebook page every Monday for free, one of which will be MALLRATS.

The Kevin Smith film stars Jason Lee and Jeremy London as two best friends who seek refuge at the local mall after being dumped by their girlfriends. MALLRATS will stream on Focus Features' Facebook page on April 20th, with Kevin Smith hosting a watch party for the film. The livestreams will include a link to donate to the Entertainment Industry Foundation's COVID-19 Response Fund. The other films which will be streaming throughout April include GOSFORD PARK, which will feature writer Julian Fellowes answering questions, MOONRISE KINGDOM, which will feature director Wes Anderson answering questions, and MY SUMMER OF LOVE. Each livestream will begin at 5PM PST / 8PM EST, and you can check out the current schedule below.

Speaking of MALLRATS, Kevin Smith announced earlier this year that the long-belated sequel to the film is back on, which is going by the title of TWILIGHT OF THE MALLRATS. Smith has been attempting to get a sequel to MALLRATS off the ground for a few years, and at one point it was even going to take the form of a TV series.
