Love, Death & Robots season 3 trailer: David Fincher directed an episode of the new season

We’re just eleven days away from the May 20th premiere of the third season of the adult animated anthology series Love, Death & Robots on the Netflix streaming service. A few weeks ago, we saw a teaser trailer for the season, and now that the premiere date is so near a full trailer has arrived online. You can check that out in the embed above, and below we have information on all nine of the new episodes – including one that was directed by David Fincher!

Produced by Tim Miller, David Fincher, Joshua Donen, and Jennifer Miller, Love, Death & Robots is inspired by Miller and Fincher’s appreciation for Gerald Potterton’s 1981 animated film Heavy Metal. The series has covered

a variety of adult topics including racism, government, war, free will, and human nature. The anthology collection spans the science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy genres and each short has a unique animation style: from traditional 2D to photo-real 3D CGI. The creators were assembled for a global calling for best in class animators from all over the world including artists from France, Korea, Hungary, Canada, and the US among others.

Three Robots: Exit Strategies
The first direct sequel in Love, Death + Robots history – from the mind of acclaimed sci-fi novelist John Scalzi. The titular trio of droll droids return to take a whirlwind tour studying post-apocalyptic human survival strategies before mankind was finally snuffed out.
