If your looking for a film to watch
and than follow that watch with a WTF, than Anchor Bay has your answer. THE
MANITOU has been slated to hit shelves on March 6 on DVD, and is one of those
films that needs to be seen to be believed.
THE MANITOU “tells the story of a woman (Susan Strasberg)
who discovers a tumor on her neck that grows, and grows, until phony psychic
Harry Erskine (Tony Curtis) and others discover that she’s playing host to the
reincarnation of a 400-year-old Native American medicine man! It all leads to a
wild and completely bizarre final confrontation that has to be seen to be
believed!”
Like I said, WTF!
The film is
often scoffed at and regarded as being “silly”, but overall is a pretty original
