Aaron Paul in serious talks to join Better Call Saul

YEAH, BITCH!

Last year in September, we saw our very last episode of BREAKING BAD. Well, that gets a ”Boo, bitch”, but then we found out that a spin-off was in the works centered on the character of Saul Goodman with the title based on his slogan, BETTER CALL SAUL.

The hope was that we would see series regulars from BrBa. So far aside from obviously Bob Odenkirk, only one has signed on, the great Jonathan Banks aka Mike Ehrmantraut. Now it looks like Jesse Pinkman might join in on the action.

Aaron Paul told AP that he has had serious talks with BREAKING BAD creator Vince Gilligan about reprising his role for the spin-off.

Anything Vince is involved with, I’m there. I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it’s all a prequel — it would be fun.

Gilligan said previously that he would be making calls to see which of the actors wanted to cameo in the show. There’s still no word on Bryan Cranston, but it looks like Dean Norris definitely won’t be taking part especially with his obligations on CBS’ UNDER THE DOME saying that he doesn’t think they’ll let him do “a little cable show”.

Norris then added:

I think that experience was that experience. I’m not a big fan of kind of revisiting something that has already been done. But I think it’s going to be awesome. So I can’t wait to see it.

As for the news on revisiting Jesse Pinkman…
