Set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers. When he learns his friends and family are in danger, Astro Boy marshals all his awesome super powers and returns to Metro City, in a valiant effort to save everything he cares about. See, that’s the problem with heroes, you can always lure them into a fight. The first hero that hears about his family being tortured and goes “screw it, it’s beer o’clock” will be king. That’s a hero I can really get behind.
