Michael Eisner and his Tornante Co. is adapting a film based on Bazooka Joe, the troublemaking character that’s featured in the insert comics that are included with the bubblegum. So there you have it folks. A movie based on gum. A newcomer named Mike Hammer is set to pen the script about a character in a movie based on gum.
I think when I was walking through the forest yesterday in the middle of the night, I happened upon at least 23 struggling writers, all with their own original ideas for films. Some were charming, others not so much, but they were at least all original. In Hollywood they make movies based on gum.
