Check out the first gameplay trailer for Mad Max

While we’re all waiting on FURY ROAD to do, well, anything really, the first gameplay trailer for the MAD MAX game is here to give us our fill.

In the trailer, we are introduced to Max who we all know but not in this particular form. He’s also not looking much like Mel Gibson either. The gameplay that we see pretty on par with the level of violence and action that we are familiar with from the films. It looks like something worth keeping an eye on despite the lack of actual gameplay that is shown. I wonder what they are offering in terms of an “open world” for the Wasteland. Oh, and don’t worry, Max will have an Australian accent.

Become the legendary lone warrior as you craft and upgrade his equipment and weapons in order to survive in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. Fight with savage moves and combos to brutalize the deranged bandits of the Wasteland. Engage in dynamic, physics-based vehicular combat, taking down enemy vehicles with a slew of deadly weapons and customizable parts. Choose from different car bodies and construct the ultimate war vehicle with dozens of upgrade combinations. Explore an immense post-apocalyptic open world full of unique missions and side quests. Scavenge every scrap you can find to build upgrades for your equipment and vehicles. Take down eccentric bandits & gangs that roam the Wasteland.

MAD MAX will release on PS4, PS3, XBOX One, XBOX 360, and PC in 2014.
