Cool Videos: The Lost Boys' favorite word

THE LOST BOYS may be a cult classic for many reasons, badass young Kiefer Sutherland and a shirtless sax player being among the principle ones, but it's hard to argue that the film is actually "good" in the traditional sense. I mean, listening to most of the dialogue is pretty mind-numbing, and now there's a video to show further proof of that.

It's not unusual for the main character's name to be repeated in a film, he is the lead after all. But 114 times? That's how many instances characters say the word "Michael" in THE LOST BOYS, and Vimeo's Dan Nixon has used his editing abilities to string them all together.

It really is rather silly when you line them all up like that, but I could listen to Kiefer Sutherland read the phone book if I had to, so it doesn't bother me that much when he says it. I also had flashbacks to Gob Bluth saying "Michael" during Arrested Development while watching this.

Extra Tidbit: What, this isn't being rebooted yet?
