Fans are just realizing Elizabeth Olsen is related to Mary-Kate & Ashley

Fans of WandaVision are just discovering that star Elizabeth Olsen has a very familiar face and it's actually pretty hilarious to see some of social media realizing for the first time that the actress is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

The latter two Olsen siblings rose to fame as kids on the popular sitcom Full House before going on to become hugely successful via movies in the 90s and early 2000s as well as through their company Dualstar. This allowed the twins to join the ranks of the wealthiest women in the entertainment industry at a very young age.  Elizabeth Olsen didn't really get her acting career going until 2011 when she earned raves for her role in the independent thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene. From there it was a gradual progression where she became more well-known and it could be argued that she has become more famous than her older sisters thanks to her introduction in the MCU starting with Avengers: Age of Ultron back in 2015. As Elizabeth Olsen became more of a presence in entertainment, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were largely out of the spotlight and likely enjoying all the money they made in their early years. The twins actually haven't appeared in a film or TV show together since 2004's New York Minute while Mary-Kate had a stint on Showtime's dark comedy Weeds.

WandaVision has become a bit of a phenomenon and only grows in popularity with each week. Due to this popularity, new fans are expressing on Twitter and other social media sites they are discovering that Elizabeth Olsen is related to the Olsen Twins and their minds seem a bit blown by the revelation. A Twitter user by the name of Madi said "I just found out that Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) from the Marvel universe is literally a f***** Olsen sister?! Like Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen are her sisters. Wow." Another user by the name of Franky Rosenthal is so shocked that they resort to all caps and goes on to say "I'M SORRY WHY DID NO ONE F***** TELL ME THAT #ELIZABETHOLSEN AKA WANDA MAXIMOFF HERSELF IS THE YOUNGER SISTER OF MARY KATE AND ASHLEY!!! I FEEL LIKE THIS SHOULD BE MORE WIDELY KNOWN!!!"

Thankfully all of Twitter isn't shocked by the discovery. A Twitter user by the name of Prasant Lokinendi said "Feel extremely old today considering there's a Twitter trend where people are just now finding out Elizabeth Olsen (from (#WandaVision) is the sister of Mary-Kate & Ashley." Twitter user OID WITCH is also surprised that people didn't just assume that Elizabeth Olsen wasn't just another twin because she looks so much like her sisters. They went on to say "I see your 'twitter is surprised to learn Elizabeth Olsen is related to the Olsen twins' and I raise you 'I'm just sitting here shocked to learn she isn't one of the twins but another sister."
