It's been announced today that Oscar winning actor Forest Whitaker will star in director David M.Rosenthal's apocalyptic thriller entitled HOW IT ENDS. Written by Brooks McLaren, the project centers on a mysterious apocalyptic event that turns the roads into mayhem, and a young father who will stop at nothing to get home to his pregnant wife on the other side of the country. Joining Whitaker for his hellish excursion across a battered nation will be DIVERGENT franchise star Theo James.

Set to produce the film will be Paul Schiff, Tai Duncan, Kelly McCormick, and Patrick Newall. This past January, Netflix acquired worldwide rights to the action thriller set to start production next month in Winnipeg, Canada. HOW IT ENDS will be added to the growing list of projects that Whitaker has participated in while working his magic for films like ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, ARRIVAL, and Marvel's BLACK PANTHER.

Be sure to stay close for more details as HOW IT ENDS will begin its production next month. Additionally, be sure to catch Whitaker as Zuri when Ryan Coogler's BLACK PANTHER prowls into theaters beginning on February 9, 2018 in the UK and February 16, 2018 in the United States.
