I Want That: Star Lord Helmet with Bluetooth and light-up eyes

When it comes to cosplayers and their costumes there is no messing around. True die-hards will spend weeks, if not months, working on outfits that make them look exactly like their favorite character – to the point where it’s even terrifying. Their hard work is admirable…but I say screw that, especially when you can skip all that hard work and just buy an ultra-realistic costume piece, like this super sick Star Lord helmet.

Hasbro is coming out with the helmet that, on top of looking spot-on to the one worn by Chris Pratt in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, is outfitted with Bluetooth technology to act as a pair of wireless headphones. You can listen to all your favorite music in that thing, which also has sound effects and light-up eyes. With it you can terrify people by running at them in the night with glowing red eyes, all while listening to the new Taylor Swift album. Hey, I don’t judge. You do you.

The helmet is expected to come out this fall, so you can make your friends Christmas wish of becoming a robot come true, and is right now being priced at $100 (which I can imagine will go up, because why not?). There aren’t too many pics yet, but here’s the prototype image!
