Megan Fox has hit a bit of a rough patch. After bursting onto the scene with two TRANSFORMERS movies, where she displayed her acting talent by running in slow motion away from explosions, her career has since stalled with JENNIFER’S BODY going nowhere, JONAH HEX being nothing short of a disaster, and finally she lost the role that got her famous, booted from the TRANSFORMERS series for calling Michael Bay Hitler. Who would have thought directors don’t like that?
Well without very many real roles on the table now, Fox has turned to fantasy casting herself in parts that don’t exist yet. Her next dream project?
“I don’t want people to protest this, but I would like to be Rainmaker in Gen 13 if they ever made that into a movie,” she said.
The character is Native American, hence the “protest,” but I really doubt a ton of Native Americans give a shit about an imaginary GEN 13 movie. But Fox explains:
“She’s a Native American, and I have a little bit of that blood in me,” she said. “It would be a bit of a stretch—but if Jake Gyllenhaal can be the Prince of Persia, I think that I can do that.”
I’m guessing that we will see a GEN 13 movie at some point, because well, every comic that exists is being turning into a movie these days. Also, the weather controlling Rainmaker is a lesbian. BONUS! Wasn’t she attached to a FATHOM movie pretty recently? Now that was pitch perfect casting, but who knows when that will come together.
