Ladies and gentlemen, cinephiles of all ages! Let's get ready to rumble!

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios today revealed a pair of blockbuster Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Gameplay Trailers featuring the highly anticipated showdown making its way to the Mortal Kombat universe – Rambo vs. the Terminator!

This Klassic Konfrontation brings together the two popular culture icons in brutal fashion, pitting Rambo, the former Special Forces soldier, against the Terminator T-800, the ruthless cyborg assassin. In the new trailers, each with an alternate ending, Rambo draws first blood and is triumphant in round one, followed by the Terminator winning round two. Depending on where loyalties lie, it will be up to players to decide which fighter wins the ultimate tiebreaker on Nov. 17 when Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launches.

You can watch both brutal trailers below:

Good grief! Mortal Kombat has undoubtedly ratcheted up the violence with every iteration in the franchise and looks to have spared no quarter when crafting the graphic and devastating fatalities of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. I dig that each trailer features a cool costume change for both characters, giving players a peek at the good before committing to a purchase. It's also very entertaining to see both Rambo and Terminator displaying some of their most iconic methods of destruction to win the tournament. Personally, I wouldn't want to face either one of them, knowing full-well that I'd be nothing but a crimson mist within moments after stepping onto the battlefield.

Rambo, licensed by STUDIOCANAL, joins the roster as a new playable fighter on Nov. 17 as part of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2, featuring the voice and likeness of actor Sylvester Stallone, along with character skin variants inspired by the “First Blood,” “Rambo: First Blood Part II” and “Rambo III” films.

The Terminator T-800 in Mortal Kombat 11 is inspired by the Skydance and Paramount Pictures film “Terminator: Dark Fate” and features the likeness of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is scheduled to release globally beginning Nov. 17 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia. All Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection, and Mortal Kombat 11 main game owners and new buyers on PS4 or Xbox One consoles will be able to download the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version of their game at no additional cost. This upgrade will be available as part of a free content update in conjunction with the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launch, delivering 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, improved loading times, and more. Please note, this upgrade is only available for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S owners.
