New 60-second spot and images for Drew Goddard’s Cabin in the Woods

Just a few days ago we showed a new 60-second spot for the Joss Whedon/Drew Goddard horror flick CABIN IN THE WOODS and now we have another one, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.  Not a massive game-changer in terms of footage, but a few interesting snippets we haven’t seen before.

This long-gestating project definitely looks intriguing and I’m more interested than I normally would be for a project like this, due largely to Whedon and Goddard’s involvement.  It seems that this will be nothing like what we expect, which is the only way something like this could succeed.  These guys are pretty good at keeping things under wraps, too, so I’d wager there’s at least a few surprises in store. 

CABIN IN THE WOODS is premiering at SXSW this weekend and opens in theaters nationwide on April 13, 2012.
