Now that THE FOURTH INSTALLMENT OF THE INDIANA JONES ADVENTURES is finally underway, talk can, of course, now turn to sequels (and a few years from now, remake, baby!) According to the IESB, Harrison Ford has signed a three picture deal while cinematic Indy spawn, Shia LaBeouf, has signed a four picture deal, which implies that The Beef may be taking over for his aging cinematic pop after this current apparent trilogy is complete. Considering it took just about eighty years to get a fourth installment going, do they really think they can crank out two more of these before Harrison Ford starts wearing diapers and forgets how to chew his own food? It’s not surprising that they’d want to pass the fedora and whip to The Beef to continue the franchise as Steven Spielberg has officially adopted him as the movie star son he never had but two more featuring Ford? Seems iffy. What do you guys think?
New Indy a trilogy?
