It’s not a rumor!
There were some reports circulating today that Paul Bettany would switch from playing J.A.R.V.I.S. to Vision. The idea was plausible due to the fact that we were already spoiled with an animatic presented at Comic Con showing Iron Man as the creator of Ultron. Just bare with me here—ultimately Ultron creates Vision turning him against the Avengers. Perhaps the A.I. programing for J.A.R.V.I.S is stolen and used for Vision. It’s like a physical form of J.A.R.V.I.S. At least that’s my take on it.
Anyway, it seems that the rumors are true.
Paul Bettany will play Vision in THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. Yes, another character to add to the roster! I think this is kind of a cool move though, and one that we kind of saw coming awhile back.
It’s all okay, though! Vision ultimately says “F*ck you, Ultron!” (thanks to some convincing from the Avengers) and becomes a hero. It’s a good day for Marvel news.
Production begins next month. YAY!
