The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It’s been awhile since we had a chat about a good, old-fashioned adventure movie. So, I was thinking why not bring out one of the heavy hitters in the genre? A true man’s man of a hero. This week, we will chat about the one and only Indiana Jones in the classic movie, Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom!

We are coming up on the two year anniversary since yours truly began hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat, so you can expect some great movies to be discussed in the coming weeks! All sorts of movies are on the table. As long as there is something about a movie worth talking about, there will eventually be a chat about it.

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username and password. You are encouraged to bring up comments or questions about the movie at hand, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is chatting about. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. It’s meant to be fun. Directly insulting someone and/or trolling people will get you kicked from the chat.

Not many movies put a smile on my face as quickly as an Indiana Jones flick does. Okay, maybe not the fourth one, but this is Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom people! How awesome is the mine cart race scene? The climactic encounter on the bridge? The return of one of the greatest movie themes ever written? There is so much in this movie that makes millions of people just say f*ck yeah!

Join us this Sunday night at 7pm EST as we talk about the good, the bad ass, and the epicness of Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom!
