Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day Trailer debuts

It's time for another cinematic trip into a childhood favorite as Disney gears up to release ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY this fall. In case you were wondering what liberties would be taken with the story to stretch it out into a feature-length film, you can get a pretty good idea with the first official trailer.

Take in the Disney here:

While the film looks to promise good fun for wholesome families, I'd say I don't quite fall into their demographic. I am mildly interested to see where some of the side characters come into play, though. Taking a look at the cast, you can expect the likes of Burn Gorman (who recently made a great turn in Season 4 of Game of Thrones) and Dick Van Dyke to pop up.

ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY, starring Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Ed Oxenbould, Dylan Minnette, and Kerris Dorsey, hits theaters October 10, 2014.

I would, however, watch a film built around an infant Bruce Banner getting exposed to gamma radiation, and completely taking out everyone in the sandbox.
