We talk The Boys Season 2 with Antony Starr, Aya Cash, Eric Kripke and more!

THE BOYS are back for another round of superhero mayhem! The Amazon series, based on the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, returns on September 4th, and to help prepare you for what is sure to top the insanity of Season One (not easily done), Amazon held a virtual junket with a large portion of the cast and the showrunner. Lots of folks to talk to, so let's get moving!

First, here's what you can expect from THE BOYS Season 2:

The even more intense, more insane Season 2 finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation's paranoia.

The first interview we have here is with everyone's favorite evil Superman – Homelander (Antony Starr) – and this season's mysterious new Supe, Stormfront (Aya Cash). If you've seen the first season of the show, you know that Homelander might be the most despicable superhero ever depicted on screen. Doesn't mean he's not fun to watch though! In Season Two, Homelander comes face-to-face with what showrunner Eric Kripke calls his worst nightmare: a cocky millennial super-woman who isn't threatened by him. I spoke with both Starr and Cash about the relationship between Homelander and Stormfront, what we can expect from their characters in Season Two, and much more!

Karen Fukuhara and Tomer Capon plays Kimiko (aka The Female) and Frenchie, respectively, in THE BOYS, and they provide one of the only genuinely sweet relationships on the series. As last season came to a close, it was clear that an affinity had developed between the two odd characters; at least a small glimmer of hope amongst the mostly grim proceedings usually found on the program. Here we talk about the fan appreciation for the Female/Frenchie pairing, what they have in store this coming season, and more!

Finally, we have the man who guides this crazy ship: showrunner Eric Kripke. Known well in the TV geek world as the man who created Supernatural, Kripke has worked to get The Boys to the screen since 2016. After a successful first season, The Boys was quickly renewed for a second, and, as of this writing, is on course for a third! The two Erics spoke about this season will compare to the comic books, the highly anticipated appearance of Stormfront, that looming third season and more!
