New Super Mario Bros Movie trailer will be released tomorrow

We got our first look at the Super Mario Bros Movie last month during a special Nintendo Direct presentation, and the second trailer is on the way. Nintendo took to Twitter to announce that the world premiere of the second trailer for the Super Marios Bros Movie will take place tomorrow at 2:00 pm PT during another Nintendo Direct presentation.

Join us at 2:00 p.m. PT on 11/29 for the world premiere of The Super Mario Bros. Movie's second trailer! No game information will be included in this #NintendoDirect.

The announcement also included a poster showcasing the throne of Princess Peach sitting in front of a giant stained-glass window featuring her likeness. Princess Peach didn’t turn up in the first trailer for the animated movie, so we’re sure to see her tomorrow.

The Super Mario Bros movie features the voices of Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Micahel Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. Aaron Horvath and Micahel Jelenic directed the movie from a script by Matthew Fogel. The first trailer for the Super Mario Bros Movie didn’t feature its title character all that much, and even with the critiques of Chris Pratt’s Mario voice, it certainly looked better than I expected, and the little penguins from the beginning of the trailer did steal my heart.

The Super Marios Bros movie will hit theaters on April 7, 2023. We’ll be sure to have the new trailer up for you tomorrow just as soon as it’s released.
