Pet Graveyard proves it’s a real movie by giving us a cat clip

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The space between life and death can kill… whatever that means. The first trailer for Proportion Productions and Millman Productions's supernatural thriller PET GRAVEYARD hit a month and every single horror fan on the planet rolled their eyes. This is because the movie is clearly a rip-off of Stephen King's PET SEMATARY – as if you needed me to tell you that. But whatever, Mockbusters have their place in our world of horror.

Anyhow, today we have a new clip from the movie to share with you guys. It's called "The Cat" and it features some dude chilling in bed when a scary-as-hell hairless cat appears on the bed with him and its eyes start glowing red. Wait. Did I say scary-as-hell hairless cat? My error. The cat is not scary – at all. This is all rather silly actually. But it should make for some THE ROOM style fun when it hits.

You can check out the new clip below along with the recently released trailer and poster. The poster is actually kinda cool. Kinda. The clip and the trailer are something else entirely. I'll let you decide what that is for yourself. For the sake of being thorough, PET GRAVEYARD concerns

a group of friends tormented by the Grim Reaper and his sinister pet after they undergo an experiment that allows them to revisit the dead.

The film marks the directorial debut of Rebecca J. Matthews (producer of MOTHER KRAMPUS), from a screenplay by Suzy Spade. Scott Jeffrey (THE BAD NUN) produces.Jeff Miller (THE TOYBOX, OUIJA HOUSE) is executive producer. The movie stars Jessica O'Toole, David Cotter, Rita Siddiqui, Hindolo Koroma, Kate Milner-Evans, Georgina Jane, T'Jean Uter-Dinh, and Hattie Willow. Uncork'd Entertainment is handling worldwide distribution and PET GRAVEYARD is scheduled for release on DVD and digital on April 2, 2019. Just in time for PET SEMATARY's release on April 5, 2019. Fancy that.
