Yo, yo, yo, check it out! I scooped
up the one-sheet for the new zombie flick PLANE DEAD from over at Fangoria, and
I got to say, it’s looking a little cheesy, but the trailer is looking cool.
The film is about a rogue CIA scientist who smuggles the body of an "infected"
scientist on board a commercial flight. When the plane hits turbulence,
the body is released from the coffin it was holding and begins to infect the
passengers and crew with the contagion. No country will let the plane land with
the infection on board, so the plane just keeps flyin’, and people just keep
dyin’!
The film premiered at the American Film Market and got a lot of great buzz, and
after watching the trailer myself I can’t say that I’m not surprised.
The movie seems like a combination of
SNAKES ON A PLANE ,
28
DAYS LATER , and SOUL
PLANE! (Although I’m not sure why I decided to include that last film)
