The rumor out of Bloody Disgusting today is that even trailblazers like Robert Rodriguez are not averse to reboots, as he is reportedly set to produce a reboot of PREDATOR. He’s taking it up a notch though, this time a team of commandos will take on ‘a mysterious race of vicious monsters‘. As in plural. Schwarzenegger, Apollo Creed and a squad of bad asses were all but wiped out by one predator but in this movie this team will take on their whole race? Who is in this squad? exactly? Lo-Pan? John McClane? Sub Zero? The X-Men? Voltron?
There is no writer attached and no script. It is also unlikely that Rodriguez will direct given his considerably full slate of upcoming projects.
