Rebel Moon character posters introduce the eclectic cast of Zack Snyder’s upcoming sci-fi epic

We’re less than one month away from Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon: Part One: A Child of Fire debuting in theaters for a limited time before it lands on Netflix on December 22. You could cut the anticipation with a sword, and Snyder is ready to hype his fans up this Monday with a gallery of Rebel Moon character posters. The one-sheets highlight pivotal characters from the upcoming film, giving us a taste of the Rebel Moon universe’s eclectic cast and outrageous fashion.

The limited-time event runs from December 15-21 at the following locations: Los Angeles (Egyptian Theatre), New York City (Paris Theater), Toronto (TIFF Bell Lightbox), and London (Prince Charles Cinema). Rebel Moon then comes to Netflix on December 22.

Here’s the official logline for Rebel Moon: Part One: A Child of Fire – “When a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruling force, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival. Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Mother World, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a battle over the fate of a galaxy is waged, and in the process, a new army of heroes is formed.”

Zack Snyder directs from a script he co-wrote with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. Cleopatra Coleman, Sofia Boutella, and Charlie Hunnam star alongside Cary Elwes, Anthony Hopkins, Jena Malone, Corey Stoll, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Djimon Hounsou, Stuart Martin, Ray Fisher, and more.
