We’re just about a month away from Robert Rodriguez’s PREDATORS hitting the big screen, and I don’t know about you, but I’m excited as all get-out to check this biotch on the big screen.
As if to tease us in the right direction, a video has leaked from a recent recording session of John Debney recording the film’s score… and yes, we have said video for your viewing / listening pleasure below.
The only sad news to report is that Alan Silvestri and his epic score from the original PREDATOR is nowhere to be found here, but you know what… that might be OK, as Debney seems to have a pretty tight grasp of how the score should be, and it’s sounding pretty decent so far.
That said, I’m not sure if anyone can beat Silvestri’s PREDATOR theme, so it’s somewhat of a lose-lose situation for anyone who tries to make the score their own. But I’ll give Debney some credit…. I like what I’m hearing thus far.
