While all of us are trying to lay low during a global pandemic, Sophie Turner (GAME OF THRONES) is hoping to conquer a grim, snow-covered wasteland in Quibi's upcoming TV series SURVIVE.

Based on author Richard Abate’s novel, SURVIVE follows the story of Jane, a young woman who is made to fight for her life when her plane crashes on a remote snow-covered mountain. Joining her is Paul, the only other remaining survivor, and together they embark on a harrowing journey out of the wilderness.

Co-starring alongside Turner in this harrowing fight for life and limb is Tony nominee Corey Hawkins (STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON), for the series directed by Mark Pellington from a script adapted by Abate and Jeremy Ungar. In addition to adapting his own novel for the small screen, Abate will also produce alongside Cary Granate and Ed Jones with Gunpowder & Sky’s Barry Barclay, Van Toffler and Floris Bauer serving as executive producers.

While I'm positive that the Queen of the North is more than capable of weathering this particular storm, I'm certain that my inexperienced ass would be little more than wolf bait when faced with such harsh and devastating circumstances. Then again, Hawkins' Paul looks to be rather skilled when battling the elements, so perhaps with his guidance and expertise I'd make it through the ordeal. Is that debatable? Absolutely. That said, a personality like his doesn't appear to give up so easily, so perhaps he'd whip me into shape before the first avalanche inevitably buries us both. Pessimism. I've got plenty of that, these days. Let's go climb a mountain, shall we?

SURVIVE will make its Quibi premiere on April 6th.
