Squealer trailer: Tyrese Gibson stars in serial killer thriller

A trailer has been released for Squealer, a serial killer thriller starring Tyrese Gibson, coming to theatres and digital soon

The serial killer thriller Squealer is set to receive a theatrical and digital release on November 3rd – and with just three weeks to go until that date arrives, a trailer for the film has been unveiled. You can check it out in the embed above.

Squealer marks the feature directorial debut of Andy Armstrong, who got his start in the entertainment industry by working as a stuntman. He earned stunt credits on more than fifty projects, including Nightbreed, Total Recall, Air America, Leprechaun, Universal Soldier, The Firm, Flesh and Bone, Stargate, Galaxy Quest, Charlie’s Angels, Planet of the Apes, Green Hornet, Thor, The Amazing Spider-Man, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. He also worked as assistant director or second unit director on many films, including The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Superman II, Krull, Highlander, Rambo II, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and Double Impact. He has even written a book on directing action sequences that’s called Action Movie Maker’s Handbook: The Art of Movie Action. (You can pick up a copy at THIS LINK.)

Armstrong wrote the screenplay for Squealer with actress and fellow stunt performer Danielle Burgio. The film has the following synopsis: When a local cop and an overzealous social-worker follow clues on missing persons cases around town, stomach-turning discoveries are unearthed on a pig farm, where the town butcher has been slaughtering more than livestock. The writers were obviously drawing inspiration from the story of Robert Pickton, a Canadian pig farmer who was charged with killing 26 women (but claimed to have killed 49). He would feed the bodies of his victims to the pigs.

Tyrese Gibson of the Fast & Furious franchise stars alongside Wes Chatham (Ahsoka), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Kate Moennig (The L Word: Generation Q), and Burgio, with Ronnie Gene Blevins (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) taking on the role of Squealer.

Armstrong and Burgio produced the film with Jason Armstrong and Rob Goodrich.
