Sullivan Screams

Last week came the news that writer / director James Gunn was stepping down from his post as celebrity judge on the second season of VH1’s reality show with a horror twist SCREAM QUEENS. We knew he’d be replaced with someone just as awesome, but we didn’t know who… until now.

2001 MANIACS and 2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS director Tim Sullivan has been tapped as the new celebrity judge on SCREAM QUEENS season 2, and least to say the guy’s excited! Just hear what he has to say about being on the show…

I never missed an episode of SCREAM QUEENS Season 1. Finally, a reality show for horror geeks like me. At first, it was Gunn’s presence which enticed me to tune in, but it wasn’t long before I was 100% hooked. As a director, I really dug watching the process unfold. And I gotta be honest- I never thought someone as talented as first season winner Tanedra Howard would come out of “reality TV”.

Sullivan promises all types of good times this season on Scream Queens, including many of the cast of FIELD OF SCREAMS showing up every once in a while as guest stars and judges, not to mention co-celebrity judge Jaime King (below). Taping of the reality show begins shooting this Sunday, with an air date aimed for early next year.
