Last week we scored a look at the Russian poster for the Bruce Willis action / sci-fi / suspense thriller SURROGATES, and today we have the new Taiwan poster for the film, which is still better than the North American poster… but a step below the Russian poster (cehck that one out HERE).
To be perfectly honest, I kinda hate this new poster. A giant head with images of action straight from some stills from the actual movie where Willis’s shoulder should be, Why am I not intrigued to see more based on this? You can almost tell that’s Willis’s surrogate double with its bizarre blonde wig on, but only if you’ve seen the trailer and know what to look for.
Color me unimpressed. Here’s an idea: show normal Willis on one side of the poster, and bizzare blond-wig Willis on the other side of the poster. Bam! Done! Slap SURROGATES on the bottom, people will sorta know what it’s about but will want to know more and actually go see it.
Enjoy the new poster, and get ready for SURROGATES in theaters everywhere September 25th.
