Team Edward dominates new Twilight Saga: Eclipse poster

It’s hard to believe that we’re just over a month away before the third (but not final!) entry in the TWILIGHT SAGA hits the big screen and IMAX, making preteen girls and lonely housewives faint across the nation. We’ve seen a buttload of posters, trailers, clips, and images from ECLIPSE already, and today we have another one to add to the list.

I think they would call this poster TEAM EDWARD (if posters had titles, that is), as it appears that Edward (Robert Pattinson) and his cronies are all that are featured here, no Kristen Stewart or Taylor Lautner in sight, nor does there appear to be other werewolves or humans chillin’ out. Just some freak with a bowl cut, some dude with bad hair and crazy eyes, and… some other pale peeps with nothing but emo looks about them.

I can already picture the TEAM JACOB poster now, a bunch of dudes without shirts on and arm tattoos. Can’t wait for that one. Really, I can’t.

ECLIPSE goes like this: As a string of mysterious killings grips Seattle, Bella, whose high school graduation is fast approaching, is forced to choose between her love for vampire Edward and her friendship with werewolf Jacob.

I live in Seattle, and I don’t remember this happening at all. I think they’re making this shit up. Enjoy the new poster below, and get ready for David Slade’s ECLIPSE in theaters everywhere June 30, 2010.
