The Black Phone: Ethan Hawke joins Scott Derrickson's upcoming horror film

According to THR, star Ethan Hawke reteams with Sinister director Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange) for his upcoming Blumhouse horror-thriller The Black Phone! Here's the official synopsis:

A kidnapped kid. A creepy, soundproofed basement. An ancient, disconnected phone. Then, when night falls, the phone rings.

THR reports that Hawke will play the kidnapper.
