Liam Neeson's latest action-thriller The Ice Road will find him teaming up with Laurence Fishburne in order to rescue dozens of trapped miners, but in order to get to them, they'll have to lead a team across a frozen ocean. Of course, that's not the only threat they'll face as they'll have to contend with melting waters, storms, and sabotage.
Netflix has released a new trailer for The Ice Road, which has been written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh. In addition to Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne, The Ice Road also stars Benjamin Walker, Amber Midthunder, Marcus Thomas, Holt McCallany, Martin Sensmeier, Matt McCoy, and Matt Salinger.
The official synopsis for The Ice Road:
After a remote diamond mine collapses in far northern Canada, a 'big-rig' ice road driver (Neeson) must lead an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the trapped miners. Contending with thawing waters and a massive storm, they discover the real threat is one they never saw coming.
The Ice Road will hit Netflix on June 25, 2021.
