While we wait for Rob Zombie’s THE LORDS OF SALEM to hit theaters here in the U.S., our friends across the pond will get an early opportunity to watch the surreal thriller in the comfort of their homes a few days later. eOne Momentum announced that LORDS will arrive on DVD and Digital Download on April 22nd, just a few days after it hits select theaters there on the 19th, which is when it opens domestically as well.

Furthermore, THE LORDS OF SALEM official soundtrack will be release overseas through Universal on May 27th 2013. (It comes out on April 16th here in the states.) The film has a score by guitarist John 5 and songs by The Velvet Underground, Rush, Rob Zombie, Rick James and Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.

From the singular mind of horror maestro Rob Zombie comes a chilling plunge into a nightmare world where evil runs in the blood. The Lords of Salem tells the tale of Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie), a radio station DJ living in Salem, Massachusetts, who receives a strange wooden box containing a record, a “gift from the Lords.” Heidi listens, and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of the town’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad, or are the “Lords of Salem” returning for revenge on modern-day Salem?
