Terror Films is planning to give the Bigfoot horror movie The Wild Man a digital release on September 30th, and with just a couple weeks left to go before that date arrives we’ve gotten our hands on a trailer for the film. You can check it out in the embed above!

Directed by Ryan Justice (the 2017 film Followers) from a screenplay by Sean Michael Gloria and Ian Longen, The Wild Man has the following lengthy synopsis:

Young women have been going missing in Ochopee, FL, without a single suspect in custody. A young journalist, Sara, convinces her crew to join her investigation as she travels to Ochopee to document her discoveries, but they soon realize their presence in this town is not welcome. Sara convinces her friends to stick with her, because they’re onto something big. Upon meeting Dale, the town’s notorious conspiracy theorist, she’s convinced he knows more than he is willing to share. The crew humors Dale’s ridiculous theories, even accompanying him into the Florida swamps on his quest to show them ‘The Wild Man’, hoping he’ll somehow reveal his guilt. But what the crew discovers is a secret much deeper than fairy tales and legends. What they discover is much darker and more sinister than they bargained for.

The film stars Lauren Crandall (Share or Die), Michael Paré (Streets of Fire), Julian Green (Lovecraft Country), newcomer Mike Reed, David E. McMahon (Silent Echo), Sean Michael Gloria (BMF), Eric Henderson (White Girl Apokalypse), Nicholas Denmon (Wolf Hound), Tom Parnell (Stressed to Kill), Wade Hunt Williams (Mind Games), Tom Elgin (Painkiller), Jorge Diaz (Beauty Is Skin Deep), Arielle Fray (Demented Doctors), Nishant Gogna (Followers), Gustavo Perez (Seeing Evil), and Mikee Plastik (A Brother’s Honor).

Justice and Longen produced The Wild Man with Gogna. Mark A. Baum and Tierney Boorboor serve as executive producers.

There aren’t enough good Bigfoot horror movies out there, so I’ll be giving The Wild Man a chance and hoping for the best. Will you be watching this movie? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
