Warner Bros. has announced plans to pimp a little more of your childhood for a couple of bucks with a franchise based on the classic animated series TOM AND JERRY. Eric Gravning will script an origin story that reveals how Tom and Jerry first meet and form their rivalry before getting lost in Chicago and reluctantly working together during an arduous journey home.
As stupid and lazy as this sounds, it has sadly gotten to the point where such developments have become mundane. It’s like that time Adriana Lima left my penthouse because as she put it, I was too much man for her. Was I disappointed? Sure. Was I surprised at her decision? No, not at all.
